See the whole picture first

Nicolas Goossens lives in Geneva. Synoptica is his personal project: large posters that show complex subjects at a glance, built with care and checked against reference works.

The idea is simple. Many people understand a subject best when they can first see its overall shape, and only then zoom into the details. A big poster on a wall does exactly that.

Synoptica is independent and non-commercial. The posters are free to download, print and share under a Creative Commons licence.
